Bournemouth & Poole College Women in STEM CPD Event 2017

The Advice and Guidance team at Bournemouth & Poole College are pleased to invite you to its annual event for local Careers Advisers, Teachers and educational professionals.

This event is aimed at school staff, careers advisors, local authority staff and educational professionals with the specific purpose to:

• Support careers education, information, advice and guidance with a focus towards challenging non stereotypical choices
• Inspire young women to consider careers in STEM
• Raise awareness of STEM career opportunities for young women
• Bring together College, Careers and School staff with the common aim of raising the aspirations of young people and challenging stereotypes
• Create STEM networks and opportunities for CPD
